Clinical Interests

Dr. Vemuri is a vascular specialist who treats all aspects of vascular disease with endovascular and open vascular surgery. 

His areas of clinic interest and expertise include treatment of carotid artery stenosis, thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, aorto-iliac occlusive disease, mesenteric vascular disease, peripheral arterial disease and vascular access.  

Dr. Vemuri is also part of the Washington University in St. Louis Center for Thoracic Surgery and treats thoracic outlet syndrome.

Research Interests

Dr. Vemuri’s research interests currently focus on the development of nanotechnology to improve the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease.
